Clacton's Victorian pier and beautiful golden sandy beach is only 1.5 miles away or a 10 minute drive or if you would like to leave the car at home there is a bus stop just outside the entrance of the park. Also if you still don't feel like driving you can order a taxi from the reception. If you feel like a bit of retail therapy the best place to go is under 30 minutes away by car at Colchester where you will be spoilt for choice.

For additional convenience within 5 minuets walk   of the site is a 24 hour Tesco, KFC and Pizza Hut.

Located nearby   is Clacton Shopping Village with   48 individual stores with hundreds of famous named brands in fashion, sportswear, household items, jewellery, toys, books, and many more at discounts of up to 60% off their original selling prices.  

Also local attraction include West Cliffe Theatre, various golf courses and only a short drive away is the town of Walton On The Naze which has lively amusements rides for kids of all ages with a full ten pin bowling alley.
